Did they say what started the fire??

They were saying they think it was an electrical fire (his jaw moved when he talked and his arm waved), but they hadn't investigated it fully yet.

They say it sparked, quickly spread and within 5 minutes he was down to the skeletal frame!

They said some of the vendors saw him smoking and thought...Big Tex don't smoke!! lol

Those were more weird/creepy pics! I'm glad they're going to build him again. It's a landmark--maybe it's not the Eiffel Tower, but hey, it's fun and great for kids to see and grow up with, as you said Christina.
