I knew it was Maaike as soon as I saw the owl. She's been pinning a huge collections of owls on Pinterest in all forms and some of them are really beautiful.

Yeah, I have an owl and a dragonfly obsession!
I always really liked how cute owls look and when Maya Road released those plastic owlies, I had to have them! ;)

I got mine! I had a really great day yesterday and got home to find a package in the mail, it was the perfect ending! Here's what I received:

Missi - they are styrofoam balls covered with strips of fabric. However a few of the smaller balls are actually yarn rolled in a ball and then covered with strips of fabric. The fabric is hot glued on the ends. I had a hard time finding more of the really small styrofoam balls so I improvised.

I've only covered the larger styrofoam balls in the past and used dressmaker pins to attach the fabric, but I decided to go with hot glue this time and it worked out better.
