Birthday blues

For some reason I had a harder time with turning 41 than 40. I've been down all day. Plus we drove by the house I grew up in and there's a for sale side in the yard. I was hoping that when my aunt passed away last month that it was going to stay with her boys. Guess not. It broke my heart.
Anyway, that's it for my pity party. I just had to vent.

I hope your having some cake on your birthday to cheer you up! I don't think it's the age that is bringing you down...it sounds like other things. Sometimes it's hard to imagine things differently and that can be depressing. Hope your night gets better.

Thanks ladies. I'm feeling icky so I think that has something to do with my mood. I hate how you feel worse in the evening when you're sick.
My cousin gave me one of those cakes you make in a cup so I'm going to make that, some tea and have hubby baby me while I watch Sons of Anarchy in 45 mins.

Aww Nikkie ((HUGS)). When I drove by my childhood home and saw it for sale, I cried like a baby.... I don't think it's just turning 41

Nikki, sorry you're feeling down right now. Do you live in a climate where it's going to be Winter soon? I start feeling a little sad when Summer starts turning to Fall, because I know soon I will be behind closed windows with the heat on. Maybe that is part of it too. I hope you find some time to celebrate and have fun for your birthday...Celllllabrate good times come on...
