my daughters last day of preschool is may 31st, then my 1st grader is june 6th - so I have a bit yet

Rachel gets out the 23rd, then we leave town for a week the 24th (just her and I) we could stay a little longer, we shall see. Then June 14th she leaves for a month (a week with her sister then 3 weeks at camp), Then she is home for like a week then band camp starts! so not much "summer".

Aw, our last day is the 31st and I'm EXCITED!! My oldest is in Kindergarten and it's so weird not having her home. Plus, I am SO not a morning person, lol! Next year, I'll have to send her for a whole school day, so I'm going to enjoy my time with her, lol.

LOL Mine get out the 22nd...I am happy school will be over...the most emotional thing is that Chloe just graduated from Kindergarten...my baby will be in 1st next year

Same here. Kaden will be in first grade and gone all day. Here we go from 8:00 to 3:45 M-Th.

My baby (preK) gets out this week and the other 3 get done next week. The parties/awards/teacher appreciation/field days, etc... are KILLING ME, LOL.

LOVE homeschooling! I don't have to completely switch my schedule to plan for wild crazy kids! I already got em! But, the book club I am in charge of has it's final party on Wednesday- playdate at the park! yippee!- and the "science" group that I co-leader ends next Monday- with an ice cream party and water balloon fight! I am definitely ready to "relax" this summer. All we have to focus on is home stuff, and we probably won't do more than 2-3 hours a day during the summer.

I feel you there! We have already had a graduation party last night, a field trip today, an art show tonight, another trip tomorrow, a birthday party Thursday, then a school concert that night, and the list goes on and on with more end of the year parties and events right through the end of May. It's INSANE!

I do NOT miss the days of awards, parties, etc. Give me finals anyday!! lol
