Unfortunately my extended family has decided that FB is the only means for communication so I can't do away with it if I want to know what is going on. I even found out that my grandson was in the hospital with pneumonia thru Facebook! **sigh**
It's totally sickening that people can't even pick up the phone anymore.
My sister uses it to air her "I'm drunk and not taking care of my kid antics" and to pick fights with my brother who said he misses MY kids, and he sees her ONE all the time (He hasn't seen his niece and nephew in about 3 years because the last time I was in Indiana, he was up-state, and I don't mean that as a euphemism LOL).
My brother also uses it to try and look "redneck" by misspelling everything and then blames auto-correct
I'll admit my random period.between.words I do is because of my phone, and that's because the space button is so close to the period button
I overshare. Always. It's who I am. Ask people in Friday night's chat ;)
I am sorry about the whole situation. I have a couple friends who complain about everything and anything but nothing in specific and if you ask about it, they get in your face like you shouldn't know. It is rather annoying.
I do daily updates about our day, but again thats' because we are so far away from friends and family that they check in on us through FB so they aren't calling daily (thank goodness because I'd never get anything done if I were on the phone all day!)
As to Missi's OP: Missi, it's cuz you're her mom. LOL, she doesn't want your opinion (which includes the truth about the drink's unhealthy contents), she just wants to brag about it with her friends. It doesn't matter how old she is... I know cuz I get annoyed when my mom posts Motherly things on my fb statuses rotfl! But she didn't have to delete and she definitely didn't have to send you a nasty text!
And I was so afraid that my loud mouth brother would post the name we'd picked out for DS on fb before he was born that I didn't tell him the name. Heck, I didn't even tell my mom cuz I was afraid she'd tell my brother and he'd blab it on fb! And only my close family (like my mom and dad--since they were flying down to visit lol) knew my c-s date. I only said "mid February" when people on fb asked when I was due.
