    Hi y'all. I am the mother of two grown children and two grandchildren (ages 1 and 4). I started scrapbooking 3 years ago when I retired from a career in healthcare for 44 years. I did paper scrapping until last October (2010) when I did my first digital page. Although I had done literally more than 100 paper scrapbook pages, I now find it difficult to work with paper and "cut and paste". My husband and I are both retired and really love to travel. We are doing as much of that as we can now...before we get too old! I just came upon Ginger Snaps a few weeks ago and really like this site. Hope to visit it more often now. Thanks

    Welcome to GS! And congrats on being retired, LOL. We have a lot in common (other than the retired thing ). I'm also in Georgia and work in healthcare! So glad you found us and holler if we can help you in anyway.

    Well, welcome to GingerScraps! We are so glad you found us! I can relate to the (used to be a paper scrapper and now find it hard to cut and paste). I started digi-scrapping back in January of this year! See, you'll find you have something in common with tons of gals around here! Look forward to seeing your layouts in the gallery!
