How exactly do you do this quality assurance thingy? It sounds like something I might be interested in but I have no idea if I have the skills to do it

Quality assurance uses tools that look for stray or missing pixels, jagged edges and shadows. They may also check for blurriness, realtive image size, print size, resolution, gamut, trimmed elements and more.
