Hi from sunny San Diego

I've been around for a while but I thought I would make it official and say hello to everyone. I'm a new member of the CT and am so excited...

I am originally from Chicago, that explains my forum name, but now live in sunny San Diego, no more shoveling for me. I work full time as an accountant, love to read and of course digi-scrap.
I have one daughter, one very cool son-in-law who is a Dr. in the Navy, a darling 9 yr old gd and a super funny 6 yr old gs. They live on the opposite side of the country from me and I don't get to see them very often. But I do get to scrap them, so that is something.
