February Scrap'n'Chat with Cari - 02.04

WE ARE IN THE CHATROOM!

Here we go with tonight's instructions:
Step 1: Select a photo of someone and do a quick extract of it . IF YOU NEED HELP with this, I have a super easy "cheat" to help you out
Select the eraser tool, select a very large, very soft round brush [200-300px], erase around outline of object & over any other background

Step 2: Select 2 papers. Place one on top of the other and tilt it a little. Place your photo on top.

Step 3: Place a few swirls or decorative shapes between your two paper layers & let them show at the edges.

Step 4: Add a scatter or splatter to your page, and some wordart or text.

Step 5: Use a window or frame element somewhere on your page and accent it with an embellishment or two.

Step 6: Add a title and/or journaling. You can add an additional embellishment or two to the page, and don't forget to add some nice shadows to your page elements!

Now post your layouts in the gallery within 1 hour from now (by 11pmEST/8pmPST) , then post your finished, linked layout in the SS thread. Be sure you also check out the other SS pages & leave some love, too!

Tomorrow morning, I'll send out a PM, to all who post a layout within one hour of the end of our scrap tonight, with a link & coupon code for this "Love Accents" pack that won't even be listed in my shop till next week!
