Default The Footprint on the Wall

I was inspired to write this poem when we were clearing out my son's nursery and moving him to a "big boy room" in order to prepare for our daughter's arrival. It's been almost 2 years since I wrote this, and I realized that I haven't really lived up to my pledge. So when I stumbled across this today, I thought I'd post it as a good reminder to other mothers.

That is seriously beautiful. I loved the poem.

Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect. It means you've decided to look beyond the imperfections. ♥

This is really beautiful, Tricia. Fantastic poetry and so bittersweet, it made me a little teary-eyed! Love how you captured that.
