My Email inbox

I just finished organizing my whole email inbox! ahhhh!! :)

I have over 800 emails to file in the proper folders. And it is all done! Whoot

How often do you all totally clean out your email folders and inbox??

I don't get THAT email so it's daily only because I can't see properly with too many........

That has to feel good! I might do mine one day...after I finish organizing digi.

It is such a good feeling! I do my general organizing every day, throughout the day.... things like invoices and customer service emails. I have to organize those right away! or else things would be a huge mess. LOL

But then I still have many that I kind know I don't want to delete... but I don't need to organize them right NOW. So ya, that ALL got done tonight! Whoot!!

Now it is 4am.... and I better get my butt to bed. LOL

I organize as I go through it, every single time an e-mail comes in. Delete, save [in a specific folder]. 90% gets deleted once I'm done. Some get saved until forever. Heck, I still have Girl Scout emails from Madi's first year as a Brownie :D

Criminy! I check my email maybe 10-15 times a day, so there's never any organizing needed!

Maybe the ONE part of my life that is more than organized chaos lol!

I try to keep up with it, but I'm lousy at it. Probably has something to do with my long work days. I tend to clean it out on the weekends. The one I've had for 15 years tends to get a lot more (junk) emails, but my new one (yes, new - it's at least 12 years younger than the other one!) is much easier to keep up with. 800 isn't bad. Last week listening to the radio at work they were talking about how many emails they (the hosts) have and the girl checked and was amazed. She had over 23,000 emails. I was shocked! I didn't think there was anything that would allow you to have that many emails. I know I semi-regularly get put into email jail at work.

woohoo Ginger!!! I love having my inbox clean but I do not do it very often. I clean it up a little when it gets out of control but only completely empty maybe once or twice a year. I should probably do it weekly or so then it would not be so bad.

800 in my inbox would end up being a SELECT ALL and clicking the delete button :(

I go through my email daily... But if I have been doing email from my phone for a couple of days, then I go through and organize... So at least once a week.
