Hello from Los Angeles!

Hi there!

I've been browsing off and on for months and have shopped before but never signed up for the forums until today. Saw a template challenge that looked like fun. I'm participating in a few forums now and this one looks like it's got a lot of great challenges (which I love).

Anyway, I'm a high school teacher (history and biology - odd combo, I know) and have been scrapping for roughly 15 years. I still paper scrap but also really like digi scrapping. I'm also married and a mom to a very active 6 year old. He's a very special kid - battling a somewhat rare and little known kidney disease - but also totally obsessed with playing ice hockey (he's in two leagues and is a skater in one and a goalie in the other). I'm an avid photographer, love Disneyland, have a cat, two dogs and 2 fish.

So sad to hear about your son's struggles, but happy that he's found something he loves! I think him finding something to keep him busy and happy makes all the difference in the world when you have a health issue. You're so lucky to have such a fun kid! :)
