I guess it's the time of the year again :( My kids have already started to ask when we can get their costumes. I've thought about making them again this year but no clue what to do. Apparently Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum is out of the question.hehe What are your plans??

I really wanted all my kids to match this year...my daughter wanted to be Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz so I tried to convince my boys to be a scarecrow, lion, or tin man...no such luck! I even told them I would dress up in a matching costume too and maybe make Daddy dress up. My daughter is still gonna be Dorothy, but my son (5) picked spiderman and my 2 yo son chose a monkey! Maybe I'll dress as a scarecrow to match Dorothy!
Check Pinterest...lots of inspiration for costumes there! How about butterflies? or a peacock?

No idea what either grandson will "be" as yet... Let's hope I have the photo to scrap.

Last year my Grandson wore a hand me down lion costume and of course he was simply adorable! I will be scrapping that one this year, but I don't know what he will be this year. Claire never tells us, she likes it to be a surprise :)
A couple years ago my daughter went to a Alice in Wonderland themed party as the blue catepillar. It was EASY to make and was terrific!! You could use multi colored tshirts to make multi colored catepilllars. Here is the picture of her costume:

That is adorable Missi and I love that the legs are attached to her arms so that they move with her. So cute and creative
Last year Emma was a witch and Aiden was a ninja. I don't have a clue what they'll be this year. I've been looking at Pinterest for ideas but still haven't seen anything they like. There's still lots of time so I don't think I should be panicking just yet. Emma was thinking about LaLaLoopsy. I may have to dust off my sewing machine and see what I can come up with. :)
My son, so far, wants to wear the same costume he wore last year. While that saves me money, it's so boring...
He was a Chuggington chugger last year..Brewster to be exact.
I think we are going to have two pirates;)
