Angel Wing

A year ago today my Mom was called to Heaven --- she had been quite ill and she was ready ...
She really was an angel on earth, not just because she was my Mom - but because of the way she lived her life - the way she treated and respected others and because of the deep relationship she had with God.
The day she passed away had been dreary and it had rained on and off all day long - early that evening though, when I was doing dishes I noticed the sky getting pink - so I grabbed my camera and went outside - I snapped a dozen photos - they sky was so pretty! It wasn't until I uploaded them to my computer that I saw this HUGE ANGEL WING to the west over our house ... I really felt like God was telling me everything would be okay.

oh wow, Jill, God speaks in so many mysterious ways, and sometimes in beautiful ways. And that angel wing is definitely a beautiful reminder of God's love and protection, especially on such a sad day.
