Re: Teacher Appreciation Gifts: inspire me!
Those are both cute ideas! Now, how do I inspire my kids to get them for ME! lol.... I don't think I'll be getting any teacher appreciation gifts! Even though I did leader 2 groups. Oh well, it's about the learning anyways. BUT you bet that next year I WILL be making sure that for the end of the year I will be making something for the groups that my kids are in that I am not a leader for! Homeschool Moms are WAY underappreciated!

I'm with you when this school year ends we will be past this phase. I have one in high school and the other will be going into middle school. My 11 year old that is almost done with fifth grade his teacher isn't getting anything since I really didn't care for her....and besides the teachers in our school district are way over paid.

I copied Rebecca but I found out that I am not crafty at all and had a very hard time, needless to say I only did one box and will do something easier for Aidan's teacher lol.

Lots of great ideas! I ended up just doing an Applebee's gift card in a homemade gift card holder that says, "thanks for an a+ year" and tying it to an apple. Not my best effort, but it something at least!

such awesome ideas! I didn't realize that our Aaidan's day care teacher will not be his teacher this summer until today, and our last day with her her is next Thursday. I am totally inspired by this thread!
Annabelle is making a crayon monogram for her teacher Miss Heidi. We are breaking crayons in half, and gluing them onto card stock in the shape of an H and putting it a frame. A pinterest idea. Love that site!
