#crickets

Is it me, or is the forum unnaturally quiet lately?

I do suppose the gorgeous weather almost everywhere has a little something to do with it- everyone wants to be outside! :)

From my window I see not a cloud in the sky, so blue and bright today! With my little guy just starting his nap, the sun shining in the window, it's so blissfully quiet and so lovely!

LOL! Yes it does seem quiet - I'm catching up around digiland after a busy last week getting ready for a bday party and the weekend full of bday festivities :D

I'm just so busy, I can barely find time to check my email! But once school is out, we'll get into our summer routine and be here more often. :)

I think after all the craziness of NSD, everyone takes a little break.

I am crazy busy! I miss chatting with the GS girls!

I totally get the busy bit! Though I wasn't on straight through NSD weekend I can imagine you'd need some serious recovery time. LOL

I'm still here. We went to a sheep sheering festival on Saturday. It was really fun. My DD (10) LOVES the hand spinning wheel that I got for my husband because I KNEW he REALLY wanted it, even if we didn't have funds for it! (I've spent $15 less wisely before! lol) So that shot Saturday. Sunday I don't even check my email, so I'm sorry you all missed me then! Today was the final day for one of the homeschool groups that I co-leader. We had a party in the park. So- the plan was to have a waterballoon fight on the grass. Long story short, they changed that, but only AFTER I went to the store to get them. While I was there, I decided to buy bananas as well. Well, they had put some chicken fryers & drumsticks on sale for $0.59/lb. So I came home with 3 packages of the fryers, and 2 of the drumsticks (about $15 or so). As I was putting the fryers into the crockpot for dinner, I decided to see if I could take off some of the meat to save for later. Needless to say, I ended up getting 12 soup bones, 12 chicken breasts, 12 chicken tenders, and 3-4 dinners worth of drumsticks. Meat for 10 dinners! Yeah baby! :)

THAT's why I wasn't here this morning!

I have been uber busy too --- which is sorta out of the norm for me ... hopefully by mid week things will be a little better --- our son and DIL are staying with us for a few days and it is amazing how it throws a wrench in my everyday routine!
