He's TOO grown up
It seems we've been on the theme of getting older and our kids growing up and such here in the forum. My son just had his 6th birthday on the 10th. He takes art lessons, and tonight was their big gallery showing for the end of the year. It wasn't until I got home and uploaded this photo that it finally hit me just how much he really has grown up. I'm not sure I'm ready for this. :(

The "K" is one of his artwork pieces. ;)

Wow! So big! It seems like most of the pages that I see of him are when he was itty bitty, so he definitely has grown quick- lol!

Re: He's TOO grown up
Aww, I always ask my mom if it's weird to remember when all us kids were brand new, now my brother is turning 31, I'm turning 26 and my sisters just turned 17 and 18.
She says no, but I know it's been hard for her lately since us three girls have grown up so fast. I moved out last year on the day of my 25th birthday, my 18 yr old sister moved out a couple of months ago and of course, my brother has been gone for a long time now.
She only has one left and she's nearing that time, too. I always think moms have the hardest job, nurturing a life, watching them grow, giving up their own lives for their kids, only to have them grow up and move on with their own lives.
Your son is lucky to have you as a mommy! :heartshape1:
