Sending hugs and prayers your way, Trina... so sorry!
I hope she is feeling better soon Trina!
Thanks girls!!
She came home late last night, drugged, dazed and confused, but home. They're saying blocked pancreas & flair up of diverticulitis. She's really not sure what she's supposed to do about either - and miffed they just let her walk out even tho she couldnt keep her eyes open - let alone focused! I havent heard anything in almost 12 hours - but I dont want to keep calling and wake her up! I'm hoping she had a restful night!!
I hate it when they send you home too early!
I remember them doing that to me once and it was stressful for my whole family!! I honestly was too out of it to remember. But they still talk about it.
Hugs trina, <3 its so hard to feel powerless. I would be ringing my hands if I were you.
oh my goodness trina i'll keep you and your mom in my thoughts
Oh, wow. Your family has had way too much of this, I agree! Hope that they get it fixed quickly.
Praying for you and your family Trina!
Hoping all settles for you soon, and your Mom feels better. Prayers indeed.
As for the diviticulitis...very careful soft diet. Stay away from nuts or anything with seeds. A flair up of it, isn't any fun.

Hope your mom is doing ok Trina. My mom has diverticulitis as well.
Your mom needs to up the fiber in her diet and avoid certain foods including strawberries, cucumbers, corn (including pop corn), and beans and processed carbs like white bread and pretzels. Coffee is also a trigger for my mom, but she is ok with tea even though that is something she is supposed to avoid. My mom also has to limit how much lettuce she has and if she does eat it, it's only for lunch.
I have diverticulitus and the one episode I had was so painful and uncomfortable. I was in the emergency room on morphine and I had to up my fiber and go on a liquid diet for a few days. Benefiber was my best friend. I hope your mom feels better soon.
