What program were you using? I am in PSE and when I double click my layers palette I can rename it...do you know how to open the blending options in PSE? Thanks!

On PSE the blending options is above the layers palette and the opacity is right next to that. not sure if we have a menu like Char is showing, but after my breakfast date I will look around some more.

This is the closest thing I have found is this so far.....

And to get this I added a shadow (which can be removed) and clicked on the fx on the layer. Want the shadow gone? uncheck the shadow choice. I am thinking these are options that CS has that PSE doesn't.
