Hi everyone!

Hello! I've been lurking on GingerScraps for 2 or 3 years now, always too busy with work to participate. I worked mostly as an editor in the first 3/4s of my professional life and as an academic librarian in the last 1/4th. Now, I'm more or less retired and living on peanuts (otherwise known as Social Security) on an island in the Caribbean. Because a body can't live on peanuts alone, I found a little part-time job at the Country Snack Stand and Mini Zoo, which not only provides me with loads of exercise, it also satisfies my need for pets. The rest of the time I scrapbook and read, read and scrapbook. Sometimes I go to the beach and hang out, especially when music is involved. What more can I say ... life is good! :)
