Hey Irene, welcome back to the game!!! I had a very similar thing happen, joined the site ages ago and never became active until recently. But I have to tell ya, I love it here. There is SO much going on and so many amazingly friendly people. I get the most wonderful and sincere comments in the gallery, completely different from "The Big Sites". Anyway, It's wonderful to meet you and hope you enjoy learning your new skill.
