I made this for my MIL, her kitchen is a winery theme...I think I might want to paint the frame black?? What do you all think?

yes. black paint- then rough it up a bit with sand paper... that is what I think :)

First of all, this is gorgeous. I think the brown matches the lettering but black would make the picture "pop" - it depends on your MIL's decor too. Which fits best with her kitchen?

i did end up painting the frame, dark purple and roughed it up, i made a nightlight to match.
