Hello! I've been trying (unsuccessfully) to (install) -get more fonts into Photoshop Elements 11 but, its saying its an (.exe) file... Do I need to do something with these font files so I can use them? Can someone/ anyone please help me & show me how to get the fonts installed into it?!!! I have downloaded some to my computer...I don't even know if I was supposed to do that! Grrr...I'm getting so frustrated because I am very new at ALL of this (pse 11, digiscrapping, saving to web so I can upload my layouts to gallery, basically everything etc...)!!!:(

When I DL a font, I save it to a folder called " fonts" ( I know not very original) and it is on the drive that holds all my digi obsessions.
Once unzipped, I right click and copy the ttf file.
Go to- start > computer> C drive> windows> fonts, right click and paste into that fonts folder.
Start your PSE and it should be there.

I forgot to add...the more fonts, brushes, layer styles, textures, actions you store I. Your program.......the slower it runs, especially PSE. Hence why I keep mine in a different folder until I plan to use.
Now if it is something I use a lot, then it stays, but many are a one time thing, and no need to clog.

You are so kind michi!! :) Thank you so much for all this information!! I will do the same by not putting too much in my pse and just to make it really simple, I'll file it under "Fonts" to find it quicker!!
Can I ask you or anyone reading this, which program you use to unzip your files? I was using winzip but the trial version ran out. I'm wanting something that works good but low costing or free (even better)! I have a few other questions too but I don't wanna be a pest lol ;)

I use winrar. I managed to get it free from cnet.com on a DL.
When it says...pay... I restart the computer.

Another way is to double click the zip file, then when you see the folder , rt click > copy> and paste into the folder you wish.
I have window 7 but I've done this with vista and xp
