We got tickets to the midnight opening show a few days ago. We left home to get into line for good seats today at about 3:00. We figured there would be a huge crowd, surprisingly there was no line, we got to be first in line!

I won tickets to the prescreening on Wednesday, it was amazing! I'm not sure how long it'll take to rebuild the city after that fight though LOL

You and your midnight shows!! lol

We have had a guy wandering around Walmart in a superman costume for a couple weeks, I think it had to do with the Superman/Walmart re screening sale. I think he was probably an employee willing to promote the tickets.

I agree with you Connie! But the midnight opening shows for big movies are so fun! People all dressed up and they are great crowds too, they are totally into the movie and very excited! If it's a movie that we don't care about the midnight premier... We wait at least a week till the crowd dies down a bit.
My daughters favorite part of the WHOLE night was the trailor for Catching Fire (the second Hunger Games movie) she freaked out!! After superman was over I asked both kids what their favorite part was... She said it was that movie preview! Lol!

Now that midnight show will be INSANE!! For hunger games we had to sit outside for over 7 hours, to get good seats. It was in November and freezing cold with bits of rain. But we made some really cool memories :)

Glad you had fun. Love the pics you posted. We'll be going to that one too, in a week or so.
We loved the last Star Trek movie. So exciting.

Sounds like fun! Hubby wanted to see the new Star Trek movie when it came out but we still haven't made it to the theater yet. Some movies you just have to see on the big screen. Hmmm... I should try to squeeze that in this weekend since it's Father's Day.

Kathy, if you were a fan of the original Star Trek you will enjoy this movie. Well actually, you don't need to know the original TV show to enjoy this, but I love the actors that play all the key roles and their own interpretations of the characters, Kirk, Spock, Scotty, etc. So fun, and definitely best on the big screen. We went to the regular movie (the non 3-D version). 3-D is too real for me ... makes me dizzy, lol.

Haha... I'm not sure that's possible! I may have a new "Channing" in my life ;)

For real, it's worth seeing the movie just to watch him. Lol

Once your kiddos get older, you should totally take them to a midnight show! My "babies" are teenagers, (how the heck did time fly by so fast?!) so they are the prefect age for midnight shows! They LOVE it, and I get a "best mom ever award". LOL

I still haven't got to see it and I really want to! We are taking the kids to Monster's University this weekend. They aren't old enough yet for Superman.
