Hi All,

I will be your book club host and continue on where JoyLynn left off. This is the first time I hold a book club so please bear with me as I try to learn the ropes.

I will be opening the poll for the next month's book on the 1st of every month and close it on the 15th. Hope that it will give you all enough time to find the books from stores, library, etc. if you're interested to read it.

I will try to vary the book choices but be warn that I'm a very "romance" reader. LOL. I like historical romance, paranormal romance, fantasy romance, etc. I will try to select books from the new release, bestsellers, etc to give it more variety. If you ever want to recommend books for the book club to read together please don't hesitate to PM me. Any suggestions or ideas are also welcome.

Hope to have fun reading and discussing with you all!

I have also read some good books from the monthly list. That's one of the reasons I love this book club.

I have read some great books due to the book club that I wouldn't have normally picked up. My problem is that I only participate every couple of months! lol The last few times have been a series and I end up wanting to finish the series before moving on. And I am a slow reader, well not really a slow reader, its more that when I stop moving long enough to read I fall asleep! lol

I also have somewhat limited book funds, so when I can't get it pretty cheap, free or from the library, I am pretty limited. But I definitely participate as often as possible!!

missdamsel - that's my problem too. I tend to read at night and reading just puts me out. That's why it takes me so long to read a book. However, as the weather gets nice out I like to sit outside and read. I read more during the summer months. I so want to get one of those paperwhite kindles so I can read in the sun. Going to ask for one for mother's day.
