HELP! 2-page LO-GIMP???

I made my first two page LO with the help of one Colie's Corner's templates, but now I don't know how to resize it to fit the gallery--I used GIMP--please tell me you know how to help!! I'm quite proud of this LO and now I can't show it off! LOL! I uploaded it to photobucket after I resized it to 1200 x 600, but it's all blurry now...

I use gimp and what I do is resize it to 600 wide so that should make it 300 high then you can add a white layer that is 600 by 600 then center your two page lo on top of that layer and merge so you will have the correct size layout for the gallery
