Tomorrow when the war began - by John Marsden

Everyone should have read this. Doesn't matter what age, it is amazing.

Thanks for the recommendation. Have you read all 7 books in the series?

Yes. I read the original Australian series during my stay in Canada (I lived there for 8 months). But the books really left a mark on me and I wanted to read them again. And again. So I decided to buy the books. The original ones were very pricy and hard to find for me (since I live in the Netherlands) and therefor decided to buy the Dutch translation. The only thing that bothers me in here is that the character Ellie is called Ellen in these books. I mean: why?!

Long story short: yes, I've very recently re-read all 7 books. And now I'm telling everybody about them. lol!

The Fault In Our Stars by John Green
Divergent by Veronica Roth
Insurgent by Veronica Roth
Gone By Michael Grant (careful, this is the first book in a series of 5 so you might be reading for a while!)

Yes, and yes to the first two -- incredible stories! I can't WAIT for the third book (or the first movie!) :)

I haven't read Gone, yet...but it's on my To Be Read Soon list. Glad to hear someone else enjoyed it! :)

I'm anxiously awaiting Allegiant. I keep hoping my library lists it so I can put it on hold before it releases but I think it's too early for that :)

I just finished "The Queen of Water" by Laura Resau and Maria Virginia Farinango. It was amazing! It was all about an indigenous girl's life in Ecuador and how she went to work for a mestizo family when she was 7. It's a look into the cultural and societal differences. So good!

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one that loves the Divergent series!! I'm also anxiously awaiting Alliegent! I have it preordered so that it will auto-download into my nook when it releases lol! I'm going to be on vacation on release day, so I need it for poolside :)
