I can't believe my little girl started 1st Grade today!! She is so excited. I didn't get any pictures in her classroom, but I will try tomorrow :)

Congrats to her and you, she looks adorable!

It seems like mine just started 1st grade a few years ago but he'll be a junior in a few weeks ...eek!

She looks so excited. My son starts the first grade on the 15th, but this week is First Grade Camp (orientation 2 hrs a day until Thursday).

Aww.....first grade! How exciting!! Boy, am I glad school doesn't start in my area until the end of August. This teacher needs a few more weeks!!

WHOO HOO! So glad when they're so excited. My daughter will be in K this year - and everyday is asking when she can go to school! My son will be 2nd grade - and he's excited - but definitely not rushing Summer!!

Oh Michelle- I can "feel" her enthusiam! Fantastic photo and hoping she just loved her day. Our schools start Aug. 21.

Wow! I can't believe she started already. She looks super excited! DS starts 1st grade on the 14th. The summer went so fast!

yea! and ITA with other people: she looks so darn excited, which is great!
My DD starts Kindergarten in a few weeks. They grow up so darn fast, don't they? :)

Thanks everyone!!! Well, it went ok. She didn't know any of the other returning kids, except 1. But she did meet a new friend who sits next to her with "Rapunzel hair" LOL! She said she doesnt like her teacher though, because she misses her Kindergarten teacher :( I don't really know how to encourage the change, since her teacher isn't "mean or strict" yet, just not who she knows.....

Any advice?
