Hi Everyone!!

My name is Emelyn and I live in the Bay Area...about 30 minutes away from San Francisco. I'm not really a digi scrapper, more like Hybrid. I usually use the elements, print them than cut them out for paper layouts or cards. But after the Christmas in July event, I'm almost hooked!! It was so much fun, so much faster, and so much cleaner...LOL..I'm sure hubs can appreciate that!

I don't use any special photoshop programs, just MS Word.

Thanks so much for all the great inspiration!!

welcome to GS and hey, being a hybrid-er is way cool! :) I'm always amazed at the hybrid projects I see posted here. But definitely try digiscrapping! it's lots of fun, and as you said it's cleaner. That's what hooked me!

Hi Welcome to Gingerscraps,

I love your layouts and I am amazed you manage to do them in MS Word. How do you do the shadowing etc in MSWord, maybe you can share your secrets.

Congratulations again

Yeah I wanna know how you work in word too, I never knew you could do anything like that in word. Welcome to GS, you will love it here!

Thanks everyone!! It's a little time consuming to work in Word, but you get used to it. I'll be happy to write up a little something for you :)
The only downfall is that it's limited to some things, like I can't (or probably I just don't know how..LOL) change the color of some things, only to the set colors. Or I can't crop specific shapes.

My signature actually came from a QP freebie from Connie Prince's blog (THANKS!) plus another mini-kit from her. I just sorta cropped things here and there and pieced it together.

Welcome! I was thinking the same thing - MS Word?! WOWza. I'd love for you to post a tutorial on it, go for it :)

Woohoo, I finished the little tutoria. I hope it makes sense! It's in pdf format, but how do I attach it here?

It's just a simple tutorial for Word. I forgot to include something about recoloring, sorry!

Welcome, Emelyn! I am impressed that you are scrapping in Word! :) I think that quite a few programs offer free downloads if you want to upgrade at all! :)
