First two weeks of June, Madi and Ethan both were in swim lessons, Level 2. Ethan didn't pass, and he was super bummed.
Today, he finished his re-take of Level 2, and it was a totally different boy!!

He needs to practice his backstroke & front crawl (because he doesn't get far, hehe), but otherwise, he's doing SO good!!

Awesome! Swim lessons totally changed how my son acts in the pool too. It's so fun to see them accomplish new things!

We need swim lessons!!! but around here they are $$$
They're $45 each, per session, so we've spent $180 this year in lessons, but the money is SO worth it, considering the confidence that they're learning :D

Way to go EMan!!! I only had one kid do swim lessons and that was simply to protect him if he fell in the pool (He was under 3).

The Red Cross here basically requires it.
Plus, with both kids doing scouts, I want to feel safe with them going off, and being able to swim :)

Should have forced a refresh.
Unless you're using Photobucket. Then you're SOL.

*doggypaddling ftw*
Bastardized version is how I swim. I have to swim one-handed though. Water in nose is a three-day headache and noseplugs don't stay.

I don't even like to swim, I just like to tread water for hours and float around, not really going anywhere or accomplishing anything. I can spend hours in a pool or a lake or a creek just floating around, being a water sign baby, ^_^

Hehe
I'm not a water sign (i think saggie is fire?) But I do the same.
Oh, and somersaults.

Did you just call me saggy? :cryhard
Sarah

Saggie equals saggitarius or some craps. The sign hehe

That's why I prefer the beach. Soak to my hips and I'm good.
Deeper, and I'm gone. I don't do Jaws.
