So, I guess it is time to loose the baby weight from my last baby...now that he is 4 LMAO! So, I got an e-mail Weight Watchers online free for 3 months...I did WW years ago, (before my 2 younger children were born) and it worked so great, so, I'm going for it again. Let's see if I can stick to it!
So..I will be brave and share, but only with you GS girls! I weighed in on Friday at 171lbs..Oyyyy! So, lets see how much I weigh this friday!

I'm short (5'2"), so whats "normal" for most people is overweight for me. :( It's really hard being the short fat girl, LOL! With that said, I really do need to lose weight. After BOTH my kids, I bounced back to my pre-preg weight... and recently went through some things and I'm not proud to say my "go to" was food... so mine isn't baby weight, but weight I dont want none the less!

170 lbs--in my DREAMS!

Actually, not really--I'm 5'9" so 170 might make me a rail, lol.

Start drinking warm lemon water (with a little stevia if you want sweetness) in the morning! It's supposed to help jump start your metabolism, keep you hydrated and something in fresh lemon juice helps break down old food and keep you fuller longer.

My mother has been doing it for three weeks, along with some diet alterations, and she has lost 6 lbs! Woohoo!

Plus, all the vitamin C and potassium is good for your immune system and blood pressure. :)

I started a zumba class but I really need to get back on the train. I lost 70 pounds a couple years ago and let it creep back on and now I weigh 6 pounds more. I know its about lifestyle change but seriously stress happens :)

I LOVE my zumba class so maybe I can keep it off this time.

Good luck Julie with WW. Do they still have a couple different programs to choose from?

Ya, i think so. It's pretty easy...but I sometimes just want to pig out! LOL! But, I have been good so far. The nice thing is the "extra" points they give you each week for when you go over, or if you have a special occasion. There is a new Zumba place right down the road from me. I really want to try it. I am a clutz though...I think I will stay in the back! LMAO.

I'm 5'4" so only a little taller than you. My 16 YO is now taller than me...lol. Mine isn't really baby weight either..haha..just stress and turning to food. My husband got an illness on his job two years ago and I have totally gained weight since then. I loove baking and eating when I am sad or stressed...or whatever.

I need to get back into Zumba to tackle the spare tire that has made itself at home around my waist. It's weird because I've only gained 5 pounds and all 5 landed right there!

I am on a 1200 calorie diet with a max of 25 grams of sugar a day and I'm gluten free. I'm allergic to citrus fruits, so I can't try the lemon metabolism jumpstart. Bummer. I'm right in the middle of the recommended weight for my height and build, so I really just need to lose 5-10 pounds and firm up the flab!

Yah for all of you ladies! My husband and I recently started the 4 hour body slow carb diet. I've had a few friends have success with it, and they just raved about it.

I won't talk numbers (either my weight or how much I want to lose, lol). But, I figure the more small changes I make in my life and dietary choices, the better off I am. :)

Yea for taking strides in the right direction Julie!! And for everyone else making changes ... myself included.

I have gained a lot of weight over the past 6 years - 4 weeks ago I weighed 190 (double yipes!! - I'm 5'4.5") I went to a weight management doctor for vitamin B injections and started taking a prescribed appetite suppressant (really, I think it was legalized speed!) But I only took them for a few days because I felt so jittery and uneasy! I also quit getting the injections because they were doing nothing for me --- why pay $15 a week to step up on a scale? Anyways, I’ve cut back portions and snack healthy now – I’m down just about 7 pounds. I completely cut out soda (I drank full blown sugary Coke). And even though I didn't lose pounds - I could feel a difference in my belly right away - the bloated feeling (and look) was gone. I am not very active and I NEED to get out and walk - I know it would help!

This is a great thread - let's keep it going and be a support system for each other! (Just another reason I LOVE it here @ GS!!)

I am struuuuggling to lose my relationship weight. :(

Before I met my boyfriend, I went on a diet/exercise plan, I was eating 1,000 cal a day and burning off more than that at the gym.

I lost 35 lbs and 2 dress sizes! It took a long time, but I got it off. I was still overweight, but I felt great, my endurance was up and everyone was complimenting me. I was 100% happy with where I was.

After I got all fiiiiine (LOL), I met my boyfriend. I was raised on homecooking and going out, even fast food, as an extreme rarity (I'm talking 3/4 times a year, ladies).

He was raised on fast food, take out and "fend for yourself" nights. Of course, once we started dating we were going out to eat all the time.

And of course, all that weight plus a few lbs came flying back on at a rate much quicker than it left.

Now I'm back up the three dress sizes and I feel like a whale.

I've already cut out all soda, including diet soda because all that fake sugar crud does nothing but serve to keep us all fat! Also cut out the fake sugars, bought myself a $15 bottle of stevia (yum) instead. I've got the warm lemon water in the morning going along with an orange (to keep me from starving, lol). Doing my Just Dance as often as I can (difficult sometimes when I work 40 hrs a week and the bf neither cleans nor cooks--yipe!). Replaced cafeteria lunches with Lean Cuisine/Smart Ones, an orange and whole fruit applesauce.

I really need to either join a gym or get an elliptical. The elliptical was paramount to my losing weight previously. When I started, I could only do about 5/8 minutes on it. After a few months, I could go on that thing for almost an hour! I did lose 4 lbs from November to December, but I haven't weighed myself since (don't want to become discouraged).

Hoping all these little changes will show up on the scale when I go to the doctor next month!

I bet it is way easier now with all gadgets! When we did WW years ago I had those books with point values and my journal to record it all. It was annoying to take that everywhere. And bust it out at when your out to eat.
Julie remember when we looked in the book for the item with the most points and we drove all the way to to mall just to try it. Lol.
We had to at least try the 56 point brownie from Mrs. Feilds. Lol.

OMGosh! totally Ginger! That was one damn good brownie! And yes, the gadgets make it VERY easy, now I just bust out my smart phone and it figures out the points for me. So easy...even a caveman could do it...or a blond :)

Fat Secret (http://fatsecret.com/)is another good weight loss resource if anyone is looking. You choose what plan you are on and it gives you resources. I personally like it for the charts for weighing in and tracking food. My app has a scanner on it so I just scan what I'm eating and it pops right up (if not you can add it so it'll be there) then I tell it how much I at and for what meal or snack. It's even smart and keeps a list of your top things on top for you to choose fast, like Diet Coke :). It also tracks your exercise if you want it to.

I need to lose too. Like some of you ladies, mine is not baby weight. I bounced back after all 5 of them and was back to 130-140ish. Now I'm 172. :( It is because I used to be super active - I was a waitress and a preschool teacher. Now I am a transcriptionist which translates to me sitting at the computer all day. Not good for the booty. I really need to get exercise back into my life, but it is so hard to fit things like that in! Gotta do it though!
