Have you ever found yourself saying... What does that mean?? Well hopefully this list will help you!
If you have a term or abbreviation that is not on this list, please reply and let us know. We will keep on adding to the list as needed :)

GingerBread Lady = Ginger Scraps Designer
CT= Creative Team Member (Hired to make layouts)
GingerBread Girl = Site/Shop Creative Team Member (They work for the site, making Layouts for all of the GS designers)
GingerSnap = CT member for a GS Designer (example a CT member for Pretty In Green, but not the GS site/shop as a whole)
Sugar Cookie = Our praise team, leaving love and chatting (what a fun job!)
Snickerdoodles = Our ad team (although now since we have a designer by the same name.. I think the team name may soon change? I will update when needed)

In The Forums...
LO =Layout (scrapbooking page)
LOTW = layout of the week
DH= dear husband or darling husband
DS= son
DD= darling daughter
SIL= sister in law
MIL= mom in law
SBR= scrapbook related
NSBR= non-scrapbook related
ATC= artist trading card
EHD= external hard drive (a must have for scrappers everywhere, lol!)
BOM= book of me
RAK= random act of kindness
WA= word art
Ellies= elements
IRL= in real life
KWIM= know what I mean
365= The 365 project is when you take and scrap one photo for every day of the year.
AAM= all about me
TIA= thanks in advance
TFS= thanks for sharing
BRB= be right back
BBL= be back later
BTW= by the way
DL= download
UL= upload
IMHO= In My Humble/Honest Opinion
IMO= in my opinion
TTYL= talk to you later
TTYS= talk to you soon

Usage Terms (remember to always read the TOU inclosed with the product for further info)
TOU= Terms Of Use
CU = Commercial Use
PU = Personal Use
SFH = Scrap for Hire

PS = Photoshop
CS(creative suite) or PSCS (Photoshop Creative Suite)
PSE = Photoshop Elements
PSP = Paint Shop Pro
GIMP - GNU Image Manipulation Program

.PSD = Photoshop document
.TIFF = Tagged image file format (similar to .PSD but smaller in file size)
.PNG = Portable networks graphic (generally used to keep a transparent background on elements)
ASL = style file
CSH = shape file
ABR = brush file

Scrap Terms-
DPI (or PPI) = dots per inch (or pixels per inch)
QP = quick page
BW = black and white
Crop = Cut
DS = can be drop shadow or darling son (or darn son, depending on how he behaves)
Mask (or clipping mask) = a shape; and also the technique of clipping a photo, paper or color to a shape. Sometimes templates and masks are used interchangeably
Shadow = adding a style to create depth (lots of newbies to digi don't get this one at first)
Color/Colored = changing the basic color or shade of an element or paper (technique)
Layered = stacking items in a layout or project; also used to signify a psd file
Hybrid = a mix of digital and paper scrapbooking products
Blend = mix with the item below (ie. pictures blended into photos, or layers of photos set to different blend options to create different effects); part of the affects in PSE and PS

Site Abbreviations- There are a Ton of these!! I will just add a handful that seem to come up most often.
GS = GingerScraps
DSDI = Digi Scrap Drive Inn
SO = Scrap Orchard
SSD = Sweet Shoppe Designs
DST = Digi Shoptalk
DSA = Digi Scrap Addict

What about CU4CU? I've seen that and it seems pretty self-explanatory, but I don't understand what "commercial use for commercial use" would mean.

And lo 'n behold here is a list. I am so happy, THANK you!

Is there a list somewhere on this board, that tells us how many posts equals for instance Prep-Cook, etc.......On this forum? I think it would be interesting to look @ & to make goals, to reach.
